Uzumaki

I never get this... Are they truly cousins or they call them cousin since they are both Uzumakis. Because when you think about it, Naruto and Hinata are also cousins since Uzumaki and Hyuga clans are descandents of Hagaromo(Ashura's Father) and Hamura. I always thought that clans are like races in the real world... people who have common traits... like the Uchiha possess the Sharingan (a common trait) but Nara clan is more like group of people who speacialized in certain jutsus. Main 4 clans are like races others are more like nationalities. That's how I always thought about clans in Narutoverse.
